Updates on the Episode Organizer

Well build 84 is now available for the Episode Organizer. You can get it by using the update program packaged with it. I am going to be working making a new install package so that if you haven't tried it yet, you don't need to download the 11meg file and then the 4meg patch. I should hopefully have that done and online by Thursday.

Along with bug fixes, which I'll get to in a minute, there are several new elists available for the program. It now supports, "Lost", "Enterprise", "Chappelles Show", "South Park", and some have been updated as well. If you'd like a complete list of the currently supported TV shows by MSe, head over to Mitch's site and its on there.

Now for bug fixes, I basically just tweeked some stuff. The biggest change though is actually an enhancement, the program is now much more flexible when reading episode name formats before they are corrected by the program. So as long as you saved most of your files when you recorded them to comply with the basic format, our program will pick up on it. The episode number is the vital key in indentifing the episode. Previously, it really only picked up on names similar to:

<show name> 301 <episode>
<show name> 3x01 <episode>

But the name detection subroutine has now been re-written to use some Regular Expressions and now can handle anything you might through in between the episode number. So it will now pick up on stuff like:

<show name> s3e01 <episode>
<show name> 3.01 <episode>

But plan on that new install package being available by Thursday afternoon, my time of course. But in the mean time, all the elists and the new version of the program are available through the updater program.
