In case you haven't heard, straight from the official source, HL2 has gone gold. This is exciting, it will probably be the best game of the decade. I've had it pre-ordered for quite a while, and can't wait until I get it. It should be a lot of fun, from what I've read, watched, and played the physics especially are really cool.

I'm hoping it will be more satisfying that Doom 3, which was a somewhat let down as far as game play was concerned.
